For it’s monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 27, the West Ashley-James Island Business Association (WAJIBA) welcomes guest speaker Michael Sally, 2016 president of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors (CTAR). WAJIBA meets at the top of the Holiday Inn Riverview (round Holiday Inn). The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. and concludes by 1 p.m. Admission is free for WAJIBA members and $20 for non-members and includes a buffet lunch.
Sally is a Charleston native who entered the real estate business in 2003. The decade following would produce both the greatest real estate boom and crash in American history. Those tumultuous times served as an unmatched education period for professionals like Sally who remained in the business.
With Charleston’s real estate market roaring back, Sally is at the forefront of the industry. In addition to being the broker-in-charge of Pathway Real Estate Group and the CTAR president, Sally has previously served as a Director for both the National Association of Realtors and the South Carolina Association of Realtors. He has received the Realtor of Distinction award several times, which places him in the top 10 percent of all Charleston Realtors. Additionally, Sally served on the Hanahan Planning Commission for five years and was elected to Hanahan City Council in 2010, where he has served Mayor Pro Tem.
Sally is married to his high school sweetheart, Renee. They live in Hanahan with their three children where they enjoy spending family time at the lake, the beach or outdoors backpacking, boating, hunting, and fishing.
