Home Team BBQ will once again be a part of Hogs For The Cause Charleston on Saturday, Oct. 3 at The Grove at Patriot’s Point. Hogs for the Cause, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit charity event, raises money to provide aid and relief of expenses for families whose children are being treated for pediatric brain cancer.
To date, they have provided grants to more than 200 families and locally support families at MUSC Children’s Hospital. All of the money raised by participating teams onsite and in advance, goes to this cause.
To prepare for the fundraising efforts, Home Team BBQ will donate 25 percent of all sales from both locations on Saturday, Sept. 19 to Hogs For The Cause.

The purpose of Hogs for the Cause is to provide aid and relief of those variable expenses and economic burdens which families face while their child is being treated for pediatric brain cancer. Currently, Hogs For The Cause operates as the premier funding source for pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the United States and has given grants to numerous families in need.
