Local Boy Done Good

West Ashleyian Glenn McConnell has been a great many things –  businessman, state senator, statesman,  lieutenant governor, and now a president.
Last week, the College of Charleston board of trustees voted unanimously to hire McConnell as the school’s next president.
While his selection was not universally praised among the student body and the faculty, we’re just proud of that one of our own has become the Biggest Man on Campus.
