Forget dinner reservations and dozen-rose clichés. This Valentine’s season, Charleston’s K-pop fans are invited to fall head over heels — not for a date, but for their favorite idols — at K-Pop Lovers Club Night: Lowcountry K-Pop Spring Fling Fundraiser from 6:30-10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13.
Hosted by Southern Seoul Social Club, the 18-and-up event takes over Tin Roof (1117 Magnolia Road) from 6:30 to 10 p.m., serving up a night of high-energy beats, synchronized-choreo anthems, and pure fan joy. Whether you’re single, coupled up, or deeply committed to your bias, this is one love affair that welcomes everyone.
DJ Sweaty will keep the dance floor pulsing with nonstop K-pop hits, spinning everything from iconic throwbacks to today’s global chart-toppers. With K-pop continuing its rise from niche fandom to mainstream phenomenon — selling out stadiums and dominating social feeds — the club night taps directly into a movement that shows no signs of slowing down.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for early K-pop Co-op merchandise shopping, giving fans first dibs on goodies before the party officially kicks off. Organizers will also be sharing details on song requests through Instagram at @southernseoulsocialclub, so fans can help shape the soundtrack of the night.
Beyond the dancing and devotion, the night serves a bigger purpose. All proceeds support the Third Annual Lowcountry K-Pop Spring Fling, the largest K-pop celebration in South Carolina.
