This August, Draisin Vision in West Ashley is asking for you help. Swing by its Tobias Gadson Boulevard office with any new or used books and they will donate them to the Charleston Friends of the Library. In return for your donation, Draisin will be offering half-off of frames with the purchase of lenses.
Charleston Friends of the Library  is a nonprofit organization supporting and advocating for the Charleston County Public Library system by raising money to fund more than 6,000 programs sponsored annually by the library.
This year, tens of thousands were helped through supporting the Charleston Friends of the Library. Those helped included young children learning to value reading with help from the Summer Reading Program; teens needing a positive after-school environment; the unemployed building job skills; workers seeking tax assistance; and others reaching across language and cultural barriers, fulfilling personal passions.
The book drive sale will be held all August at Draisin Vision Group, located at 1470 Tobias Gadson Blvd # 115. For more information, call 556-2020 or visit www.draisinvision.com.
