Stono Park Elementary's Family Math & Science Night

Stono Park Elementary recently held its 2010 Family Math and Science Night. Each fourth and fifth grade student completed an individual science project while grades one through three, completed a class project. The idea was to give SPE's students experience in inquiry-based learning. Families then visited their child's classroom to play math games and experience the Everyday Math Curriculum as Stono Park's students do daily. Pictured here are the 4th and 5th grade science fair winners with Principal Ruth Taylor, as well as CCSD officials Jamila Gadsden, Murray Eicher, and Megan Williams.
